Holiday Inn hosts “Hug a Bear” for another year

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Once again the Holiday Inn Fort Myers Airport at Town Center has teamed up with the Golisano Children’s Museum of Southwest Florida to provide teddy bears to children this holiday.

The Holiday Inn has been collecting new bears since November 1st, with all the stuffed animals coming together Wednesday, December 17th for their annual “Holiday Hug a Bear” event.

All the new bears will be donated on Thursday to children at the Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida.

You can still bring a new bear to the Holiday Inn throughout the day Wednesday until 6 p.m. Celebrity judges, including WINK News This Morning reporter Stephanie Susskind, will then judge the bears on most original, most huggable and most inspiring bio.

The “Holiday Hug a Bear” event is free and open to public from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. the Holiday Inn Fort Myers Airport at Town Center is located at 9931 Interstate Commerce Drive.
