Six local McDonald’s All-America Finalists

Six local high school basketball players have been selected as finalists for the most prestigious all-star game in high school basketball — The McDonald’s High School All-America Game.

Twenty-four boys and girls from across the nation will be chosen from the finalists to play in the annual all-star game played in Chicago.

Local finalists:

·       Paul Costain, Saint John Neumann Catholic High School, Naples

·       McKenna Beach, Cape Coral High School, Cape Coral

·       Kiara Desamours, Dunbar High School, Ft. Myers

·       Leanne Ellis, Island Coast High School, Cape Coral

·       Keri Jewett, Dunbar High School, Ft. Myers

·       Emily Lines, First Baptist Academy, Naples

 

FGCU commits Rayjon Tucker and Elijah Long were named finalists as well.
