Hockey players: Tough guys or romantics?

Hockey players. They’re some of the toughest guys sports.

But off the ice, some of them are actually pretty romantic.
Meet Florida Everblades defender Jordan Henry and his wife, Jessie Sulidis.

“We have baths together every night,” said Sulidis. “I know he’s probably like ‘don’t tell her that’, but yeah we have little romantic baths together. And we have our favorite TV shows that we watch.”

Jessie Sulidis first looked for love where romance was everywhere: on the hit TV show “The Bachelor”.
“You learn more about yourself in six weeks than I had in 25 years,” said Sulidis.

But it turned out that her prince charming was somewhere romance is replaced with right hooks and bench clearing brawls.

“The sport of hockey is known as a pretty macho manly sport,” said Henry.  “And you almost have to portray a certain character.”

Henry and Sulidis have been happily married for over a year now. She says there’s nothing wrong with a guy who has a soft side.

“He sends me little love notes,” said Sulidis. “To know that your guy is thinking of you,  just shows how much they do care.”

To celebrate Valentines Day — they had a nice romantic dinner in Fort Myers.
