Be amazed by Blue Man Group

FORT MYERS, Fla. – There’s something blue taking over Southwest Florida, as the Blue Man Group call the Barbara B. Mann Preforming Arts Hall home through Sunday.

The show features intense high energy music and lights, along with stunts that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat. Don’t get too comfortable in your seat though, Blue man member, Adam Zuick says their favorite part is to step off the stage and pull an audience member up to join them.
“Being able to pull someone that we don’t know and have no idea really how they’re gonna respond to us, or to the show and we bring them up on stage and we do a number with them,” said Zuick.

While on stage the Blue Men not only preform their famous percussion but a variety of stunts, tricks and lightning fast costume changes that will have you questioning how that’s even done.
And what about the famous Blue Man look, Blue Man member Dan Carter, says it takes them about an hour and a half before the show to get into to character and get into that iconic Blue Man look.

“It’s not as much as we put on makeup it’s like we’re taking off a mask, taking off our every day masks so suddenly we become neutral,” said Carter.
