LEE COUNTY, Fla. – The Melanoma Research Foundation and Dr. Anais Badia, owner of Florida Skin Center, are hosting the Lee County’s 1st annual “Malignant Melanoma Awareness Walk.”

The event will be held on Saturday May 16, at the Fort Myers Tanger Outlets. It’s $30 to participate and you can register online click here.

Melanoma is the deadliest skin cancer, yet receives less research funding. The incidence of melanoma is increasing faster than any other cancer, and an American’s lifetime risk of developing melanoma is 1 in 60.

All money raised will go direct to MRF who is committed to research, education and advocacy in the battle to find more effective treatments and ultimately a cure for melanoma.
