Bubble Room to be featured on national television

CAPTIVA, Fla. – It’s one of the quirkiest and most colorful restaurants in Southwest Florida.

The Bubble Room is famous for its award-winning desserts, but now the restaurant is getting even more national attention on the Food Network’s new show “Craziest Restaurants in America.”

The Bubble Room’s general manager, Stephen Peach, tells WINK News the employees take pride in being different.

“Why would you want to be like everyone else, is my opinion,” said Peach.

The episode that features the restaurant will be called “Weird, Weirder and Weirdest.” Peach says right now, they don’t know where they are ranked in the show.

The Bubble Room is filled with antique items that line the walls. You will be taken back in time just looking at old pictures and old popular toys.

“Bubble lights. Originally all the lights in here were bubble lights,” said Peach.

The show will air on the Food Network Wednesday at 10 p.m.
