MGN Online FORT MYERS, Fla.- A man who police say was armed and dangerous is now off the streets and behind bars. U.S. Marshals confirm 19-year-old Brian Patterson is under arrest and facing charges for attempted murder. WINK News was on the scene last Thursday night at the 7-Eleven located at 1350 Ortiz Avenue. The victim told officers he was in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven when a man approached him with a handgun. Police say the suspect hit the victim with his handgun and demanded his vehicle. When the victim refused to give up his car, the suspect fired a round at him but missed. Authorities say the victim fled the scene in his jeep as the suspect fired several more rounds, striking the vehicle numerous times.
