COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- A man is in jail after police say he threw bricks and rocks at drivers and threatened authorities Monday.

Officials say 28-year-old Randy Hill faces a list of charges including throwing a deadly missile at a moving vehicle, making a bomb threat and battery on a detention center employee.

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call with a bomb threat directed toward the Naples Police Department. While investigating that call, another call came in about a man throwing bricks at moving cars.

One victim tells WINK News she was driving down Goodlette-Frank Road in front of the police department when out of nowhere, Hill threw a brick and smashed her windshield.

Authorities say the suspect also caused damage to another man’s service van.

While arresting Hill, officers were able to match his voice to the voice on the bomb threat phoned in to the call center.
