FORT MYERS, Fla.- Police are investigating an early morning shooting near the 3000 block of Edison Avenue. The victim says she was waiting at a bus stop near Davis Court and American Avenue shortly before 6 a.m., when she heard several gunshots and realized her car had been struck. According to authorities, the victim had her two children in the vehicle and drove back to Edison Avenue to notify police. A child seated in the rear of the vehicle was treated on scene for a superficial grazing wound. There were no other injuries.
