FORT MYERS, Fla.- Police arrested six men for solicitation in an undercover operation on Cleveland Avenue. Authorities say female officers posed as street prostitutes in an attempt to be solicited by individuals looking to receive sexual acts for money. “One individual tried to get our undercover officer to come work for him. He was an armed felon who had a trafficking amount of narcotics on him. These operations prove time and time again to be very important,” said police spokesperson Lieutenant Victor Medico. Police arrested the following six people for a variety of offenses: 30-year-old Jamar Underwood: Procuring another to commit prostitution Possession of a firearm by convicted felon Carrying a concealed firearm Trafficking in MDMA (8.5 grams) Resisting arrest without violence Possession of drug paraphernalia 20-year-old Gandy Aulean Solicitation for the purposes of prostitution Driving while license suspended 31-year-old Jasmine Spencer Solicitation for the purposes of prostitution 44-year-old Kurt Lobaugh Solicitation for the purposes of prostitution 66-year-old Herman Whittle Solicitation for the purposes of prostitution 34-year-old Jurandir Costa Solicitation for the purposes of prostitution
