Kid upset over comics taken out of local newspaper

Published: Updated:

BLOOMINGTON, Iowa- An 8-year-old boy is pretty upset at his local paper because they took out his favorite comics.

He called them to give them a piece of his mind. He was pretty mean because he called them jerks several times.

He said he wanted Ziggy and Garfield back.

The editor of The Herald Times did call the boy back to explain budget cuts forced the comic to go away and he was very sorry to ruin the boy’s Sunday.

The paper also reports the 8-year-old admitted to his mom he hadn’t been very nice and wanted to apologize.
