Help raise funds to battle kidney disease

Published: Updated:

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Kidney disease kills more people every year than breast cancer or prostate cancer. Funding is needed not only to fight the disease but to educate people that don’t even know they have it.

Dr. Ganesh Shenoy and Carolina Ferrer joined WINK in the studio.

The walk will be held on Sunday, March 15 at Lakes Regional Park in Fort Myers. Onsite registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the walk starts at 10 a.m.

Funds raised from the walk will support the National Kidney Foundation’s programs including public and professional education, free kidney health screenings and direct patient aid.
