LEE COUNTY, Fla.- The Red Sox had a good chance to face top-of-the-line pitching Monday at Jet Blue Park.

Mets Ace Matt Harvey was on the mound to face a loaded Red Sox lineup that featured most of Boston’s big-name hitters.

In the bottom of the third inning, Red Sox leadoff man Mookie Betts smoked a shot off the top of the Green Monster in left for a ground-rule double. Betts was 2-for-3 and is currently hitting a blistering .435 this spring.

But Harvey got out of the inning after he got Pablo Sandoval swinging. Harvey threw four scoreless innings with three strikeouts.

Red Sox starting pitcher Joe Kelly struggled a bit, surrendering three runs in 2 and 2/3rd innings of work. He left the game after an apparent injury.

Boston would score four runs in the final four innings to win 4-3.
