NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. (AP) – A Tampa Bay area man was arrested on a video voyeurism charge at a putt-putt golf course.

Pasco County deputies say 28-year-old Justin Barrett left his cell phone under a sink in the men’s bathroom at the Congo River miniature golf course in Port Richey.

A man went in to use the urinal and noticed the phone’s video camera was recording. Deputies later found it was Barrett’s phone. Pasco Sheriff Chris Nocco said that Barrett attempted to destroy evidence on the phone and also confessed to the crime.

He was released from the Land O’ Lakes Jail Sunday after posting $5,000 bail. It’s unclear whether he’s retained an attorney.
