Rash of car and home burglaries in Cape Coral

CAPE CORAL, Fla. – Police are searching for suspects after reports of a cluster of car and home burglaries Saturday morning.

Police sent an alert saying they responded to a call in the the area northwest of Del Prado Boulevard North and Kismet Parkway East. Officers said at least two cars in the area were stolen and several homes and cars were broken into. After searching in the air on the ground, police arrested two juvenile suspects, but said they believe there are other suspects still on the loose.

Police also said they were able to recover one of the stolen cars.

Investigators are asking families who live in the area to check for signs their home may have been broken into like cut lanai screens and broken windows.
