PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (AP) – A former guest services manager at The Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens is accused of stealing more than $45,000 in gift-card money.

The South Florida Sun Sentinel (http://bit.ly/1Gseuj6 ) reports 46-year-old Wendy Yallaly turned herself in to police on Tuesday and was later freed on a $10,000 bond.

Police say she spent the money at the mall, hotels, restaurants and supermarkets.

Mall officials  began suspecting Yallaly in November when multiple customers tried to use gift cards only to find they had no money attached. They notified police in December after finding discrepancies in the gift card account.

Police say she shifted money from about 340 gift cards onto new cards.

Attorney Scott Suskauer said he plans to filed a not guilty charge at Yallaly’s arraignement.
