FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla.- Bags of heroin, cocaine and marijuana were seized by Lee County narcotics detectives in a major drug bust.

The sheriff’s office says 12 people are now under arrest for selling the drugs to spring breakers on Fort Myers Beach.

The month-long investigation targeted drug dealers selling heroin, cocaine, ecstasy, and marijuana to vacationers.

One of those caught by undercover detectives is a former police chief, identified as Carl Mann from Illinois.

According to LCSO, Mann traded marijuana for two drinks at the Lani Kai bar.

Detectives are still looking for two suspected dealers identified as Wilberson Vilsaint and Fontain Mcclinton.
