Third annual “Chefs Cooking for Kids”

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast announces the Third Annual “Chefs Cooking for Kids” event.

It will be held on Thursday, April 23 from 6:30 p.m. until 10, at the Pelican Preserve Golf Club. There’s on 400 tickets available and are on sale now. Tickets are $75 for individuals. Tables of eight can be purchased for $600.

“Chefs Cooking for Kids” is an exploration of delectable delights featuring top local chefs and their original recipes. Each chef will have a station where they will showcase their own tapas-style foods. As attendees indulge in their creations, they will have the opportunity to vote for their favorites.

Plus, there will be both live and silent auctions to raise money for the cause. A variety of unique items will be up for bid during the live auction, including fine jewelry, Red Sox tickets and trip, monthly chocolates for an entire year from Norman Love Confections, and more.

The silent auction has a number of exciting items to bid on as well, including gift certificates from the event’s featured restaurants, along with many other local retailers. Fine art, jewelry items, amazing wine baskets, and much more will also be ready to go to the highest bidder. As a bonus, every winning bidder will get a free car wash courtesy of Spot On Car.
