
DENVER- A teacher’s assignment for her third grade students is gaining international attention and striking an emotional cord.
Kyle Schwartz asked her students write notes under the theme “I wish my teacher knew.”
The teacher began tweeting her students’ responses a few weeks ago, calling it a reality check when her students opened up about their struggles at home.
Schwartz shared some of the most powerful responses on Twitter using the hashtag #IWishMyTeacherKnew. Soon she was getting responses from teachers all over the world.
