PUNTA GORDA, Fla. – A new sports park is gearing up to open its doors.

Florida Tracks and Trails is 80 acres of pure fun. WINK News got an exclusive look at the park Sunday.

“I’ve been with the park since it was a cow pasture over a year ago,” said employee, Rachel Ketterman. “We’ve incorporated a lot of fun things here for the kiddos to do, such as a splat master course, which is a more delicate paint ball for young kids; the pee-wee track at our MX facility for as young as three and four-year-olds, so they can enjoy the sport of MX.”

The $20 million park has a paint ball area, Motocross tracks and 22 miles of trails for motorcycles and ATVs.

Ketterman said the park also has an area to host concerts, and the park is starting off with the Country Life Music Festival.

“This is the biggest country music event in SWFL music history. You’ve got some of the best names in the business–Hank Williams Jr., Reba Mcintyre, Billy Currington, Chris Young, Big & Rich, Charlie Daniels, Tracy Lawrence,” said Brad Maloney with Blu Entertainment Group.
