HAWTHORNE, Fla. (AP) – A wayward bull mounted two cars in Hawthorne, leaving some damage in the process.

The Gainesville Sun (http://bit.ly/1J8cw5A ) reports the bull damaged the car of a resident and an Alachua County Sheriff’s deputy Monday morning. The resident says she peered out of the window to see the bull munching on corn in her garden before mounting her vehicle.

A sheriff’s deputy came a few minutes later and the bull mounted the car as well.

The resident says she will file an insurance claim for the damage. The deputy’s car had only a few scratches.

Deputies corralled the bull in a fenced corner of the resident’s property. The owner of the bull will not be fined. If no one comes forward, the bull will be sold at auction.
