LCSO: Chase Bank robbery in south Fort Myers

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Lee County deputies are searching for a man after a south Fort Myers Chase Bank was robbed Saturday afternoon.

Around 1:57 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the Chase Bank located at 13051 University Drive in reference to a robbery.

Surveillance video shows a black male entered the bank, walked up to the counter and showed the bank teller a gun and letter demanding cash. The suspect then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as wearing a black t-shirt, black sunglasses, a black hat and possible dread-lock hair.

No injuries were reported during the robbery. No other details are being released at this time.
