Human remains found in Lee County

LEE COUNTY, Fla.- A human skeleton was found Monday afternoon in Tice.

Lee County Sheriff’s deputies say they’re conducting a death investigation in the 300 block of Ortiz Avenue.

Witnesses tell WINK News they smelled something bad in the area. They went into the woods on Memorial Day and found the skeleton of a man face down was found.
