COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- Dark smoke filled the sky as an auto repair shop caught fire.

The fire at Quima’s Auto Repair on Shirley Street in North Naples left behind more than $60,000 in damage.

The fire chief tells WINK News the auto repair shop is a complete loss.

Officials say the owners were working on a car when the fire broke out. Everything inside was completely charred by the flames.

Firefighters were able to get two hose lines on the fire quickly, pumping out about 600 gallons of water per minute. The fire chief says that was the key to getting the fire contained and under control.

The structure itself has 12 business in it. The auto repair shop was the only unit that sustained damage from the fire.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.
