COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- The organization Drug Free Collier is making sure parents are aware of the potential for children to hide dangerous drugs right at home.
Addiction experts say children are fooling their parents right under their own roofs.
The organization put on a very revealing demonstration.
Parents searched through a set made to look like a kid’s messy bedroom. They couldn’t believe what was hidden in plain sight.
“I learned something obviously, everything is deception,” said parent Edwin Messina.
Marijuana was hidden inside a stuffed animal, concealed in a tennis ball and even a lip balm jar.
