NAPLES, Fla.- The Naples Police Department is investigating a burglary and fire at a Mobil gas station over the weekend.

Around 4:25 a.m. on Sunday, authorities say two suspects entered the Mobil gas station located at 3391 9th Street North and sprayed several surveillance cameras inside with spray paint.

The suspects stole several items from the store and then began to pour an accelerant, possibly gasoline, inside the store from a red gas canister. The suspects then ignited the accelerant, causing a large combustion which spread flames from the entry door to the area of the cash register.

Authorities say the suspects left the area in a vehicle which was parked in a shopping plaza next to the gas station.

No one was injured but the fire caused about $150,000 worth of damage.
