Reward increased for information in Wells Fargo bank robbery

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla.- The reward for an arrest and conviction of the suspect in a Wells Fargo bank robbery has increased.

Wells Fargo officials announced Monday afternoon they’re offering a reward of up to $5,000, in addition to the up to $1,000 being posted by Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.

Detectives say the man walked into the Wells Fargo bank located on the 12800 block of Bonita Beach Road just after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday demanding cash. Witnesses say the suspect left the bank in a white vehicle, described as “sporty” looking.

All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 from Crime Stoppers and up to $5,000 from Wells Fargo.
