Around 3:45 p.m., the suspect walked into the bank and handed the teller a note demanding cash before fleeing the bank.

Detectives strongly believe the man who robbed the Wells Fargo Monday afternoon is the same man who robbed a Wells Fargo on September 9, and the BB&T bank on September 11, both on Bonita Beach Road.

This is the seventh bank robbery in Lee County, fourth in Bonita Springs, in September.
