Send a little SWFL love to troops overseas this holiday season

FORT MYERS, Fla.- Help troops overseas get a little bit of that home feeling this holiday season by participating in “10,000 for the Troops” sponsored by 92.5 Fox News.

Now’s the time to remind active duty military men and women serving overseas that they are in the hearts of Southwest Floridians.

“We need your help! Showing your support is easy,” said Drew Steele, host of Daybreak on 92.5 Fox News. “Pick up a Christmas card, write a heartfelt message inside and send it to us. We’ll take care of the rest.” Steele adds, “These brave men and women are there for all of us every day of the year. Let’s make sure they know this Christmas we are here for them.”

Steele says he came up with the idea while thinking about the upcoming holidays.

“”They can’t be with family. So what can I do? What can our community do? We can bring some family to them through Christmas cards.”
