EAST NAPLES, Fla.- Collier County detectives have arrested a 45-year-old man in connection with a Dunkin’ Donuts robbery on Nov. 22.

Kevin Caldwell is accused of entering the Dunkin’ Donuts located on the 3400 block of U.S. 41 East, and threatening an employee with a gun while demanding money.

Detectives say Caldwell denied any involvement in the robbery, but his landlord was able to identify Caldwell as the suspect based on surveillance images. The landlord told authorities, the hat the robber wore in the pictures was the same hat he’d seen Caldwell wear in the past.

Caldwell is charged with armed robbery with a firearm and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
