Salvation Army asking for 1,000 more toys for holiday program

FORT MYERS, Fla.- The Salvation Army still needs more than 1,000 additional toys for children in Southwest Florida as it prepares to begin distributing gifts next week for its annual Angel Tree program.

The organization is asking for toys for girls, ages 0-12, and boys, ages 9-12.

Suggested gifts include games, stationery, suitable CDs and DVDs, headphones, books, puzzles, make-up and accessories. Stocking stuffers are also needed.

You can drop off new, unwrapped toys at the following Salvation Army locations:

Christmas Cheer Warehouse

  • 13530 N Cleveland Ave, North Fort Myers
  • Saturday, Dec. 12, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Monday-Friday, Dec. 14 – Dec. 18, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
