‘Muslim free zone’ signs sold in gun store

INVERNESS, Fla. – A gun shop owner is making headlines because of a sign he is selling according to WFTS.

Andy Hallinan owns Florida Gun Supply in Citrus County. He recently started selling signs that read “Muslim free zone,” according to WFTS.

“What we are finding is that people are afraid of radical Islam. They are afraid of political correctness,” said Hallinan. “What these signs are meant to do is if you see something say something. It’s definitely something humorous. And we don’t in any way think every Muslim is bad,” said Hallinan.

The signs look like stop signs and cost $24.99.

Hallinan made international headlines back in July for declaring his shop a ‘Muslim free zone.’ The Council on American-Islamic relations (CAIR) filed a lawsuit against the shop owner, but a federal judge threw it out last month.
