FORT MYERS, Fla. – You might’ve seen a giant hot air balloon in downtown Fort Myers Friday morning and it wasn’t just any hot air balloon. The ReMax hot air balloon made an appearance as the downtown Fort Myers ReMax Dream office held a special event for ACT. ACT or Abuse, Counseling & Treatment Inc. is a local non-profit working to serve victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking in Lee, Hendry and Glades Counties in Southwest Florida. Friday their staff along with the ReMax Dream Downtown Fort Myers staff were collecting monetary donations as well as items for ACT and their shelters. Items needed include: Diapers, specifically sizes 4, 5 & 6 New and used cell phones Gift certificates in $10 increments Cash & check donations are always appreciated If you missed the ReMax hot air balloon in downtown Fort Myers, you can always drop off a donation for ACT at the ReMax Dream office located at 2285 First Street in downtown Fort Myers.
