Burglary suspect sought by Fort Myers police

FORT MYERS, Fla — The Fort Myers Police Department is looking for assistance in identifying a commercial burglary suspect. The incident occurred in the early morning hours of December 19, 2015 at the Global Motor Company located at 2225 Cleveland Avenue.

The suspect gained entry to the business by breaking a rear window. The male suspect has short dark hair, a beard and full sleeve tattoos on both arms. The suspect also has tattoos on his neck.

Police would ask you to review the video surveillance still images and if you recognize the suspect or have any information to pass along please call FMPD Detective Charles Newell at 321-7744, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS or text message C-R-I-M-E-S (274637) Keyword FMPD.  Tipsters can remain anonymous. Anyone with information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the burglary suspect could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
