CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. – For the 16th year, Charlotte County Fire and EMS hosted their Santa Pancake Breakfast. An annual tradition in Charlotte County, where firefighters cook up a delicious breakfast for the community they serve.

Both Monday and Tuesday mornings, Charlotte County fire houses traded in their fire hoses for spatulas as they flipped hundreds of pancakes. On Tuesday alone, firefighters flipped more than 80 pounds of pancakes, grilled 60 pounds of sausage and gave out more than 500 stuffed animals to local children.

In conjunction with Englewood Community Hospital and Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Charlotte County Public Safety and their partners look forward to this event every year and enjoy giving back to the community just days before Christmas.

Santa even gave the reindeer a break and arrived in style via fire truck, to greet children and pass out gifts. Firehouse doors opened at 9:00 a.m. the event runs until 11:00 a.m. if you’d like to attend. Fire Station #4 is located at 13600 Marathon Blvd. Gulf Cove in Charlotte County.
