BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. – The day before Christmas Eve is busy for all but it may be the busiest for one local bakery, working to fill plenty or orders and keep stomachs full Christmas morning.

Sweet Odin’s Danish Bakery, family and locally owned has been baking since 1949 and looks forward to this time of year, when they spread Christmas cheer through their pastries.

Known for their Kringle, a Danish oval shaped coffee cake filled with fruits or nuts and topped with vanilla icing or sugar, Sweet Odin’s normally does around 100 to 150 per day. However Wednesday and Thursday they’ll pull 300 or more out of the oven just to keep up with demand.

The fun doesn’t stop there, Sweet Odin’s has a large variety of pastries, from sweet rolls to cupcakes, brownies and doughnuts, even Christmas cookies and of-course gingerbread houses. If you’re still in need of pastries for Christmas morning, there’s still time to order but you must place the order by 4:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.
