ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.—The Coast Guard rescued six people after their 23-foot boat took on water Saturday.

The group was about 10 miles from Egmont Key when it happened. The Coast Guard got a 911 call around 8:30 a.m. saying the boat was taking on water. When rescue crews reached the group, they found all six people in the water and the boat was completely submerged. Four of the six people were wearing life jackets.

All six were okay. Coast Guard officials said there were 20-knot winds and four to six foot seas at the time of the incident.
