CAPE CORAL, Fla. – A tornado touched down in Cape Coral Saturday evening, the National Weather Service confirmed.

The tornado touched down between the intersections of Chiquita Boulevard and Beach parkway West and Mohawk Parkway and Skyline Boulevard.

Damage has been reported. No injuries were immediately reported.
