CAPE CORAL, Fla.- An armed robbery Monday night outside of the Wal-Mart located at 1619 Del Prado Boulevard S. is under investigation by the Cape Coral Police Department.

Around 8:30 p.m., a blonde-haired woman, who officials say could possibly be named Maria, got out of a newer model, grey Ford Focus near the grocery side entrance of the Wal-Mart.

Police say the woman walked across the parking lot to the pharmacy entrance where the victim was parked and got into the victim’s car. Moments later, the Focus pulled behind the victim’s vehicle, and two men got out of the Focus and walked over to the victim’s car, pointed guns at him before taking the victim’s wallet and $200 cash.

The three suspects then got back into the Ford Focus and left the scene.

Cape Coral police say images of the robbery are not available at this time.
