FORT MYERS, Fla. – One week remains to get up close and personal to some notable faces, cast in plaster life masks. As Keith Edmier: “Edison Impluvium,” wraps up at the Bob Rauschenberg Gallery.

The installation features 48 plaster life masks of influential people in Edmier’s life and notable stars, such as Jeff Goldblum, Kevin Bacon, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson and several others Edmier worked with, as a special make-up effects artist in Los Angeles.

The now New York based artist has work all over the world and created and displayed this exhibit in a full-scale sculptural recreation of the historic 1910 concrete swimming pool of Thomas Edison, located on the property of the Edison-Ford Winter Estate in Fort Myers.

In addition, visitors can also view the full cast death mask of Thomas Edison, never seen before on public display in the United States. The installation closes on Saturday, February 6th, for more information on this exhibit and future exhibits at the gallery, click here.
