Punta Gorda man’s death ruled accidental drowning

PUNTA GORDA, Fla.- A man found floating in a body of water Sunday on West End Drive accidentally drowned, the Punta Gorda Police Department said.

Authorities say 52-year-old Kenneth MacDonald’s body was found near the neighborhood where he lived.

MacDonald’s death is not considered suspicious at this time, detectives said.
