ESTERO, Fla.- The annual salary for Estero’s mayor will be raised from $9,000 to $22,595, city leaders confirmed Wednesday.
An increase from $6,000 to $16,946 annually was also approved for council members.
The salary increase does not take effect until March 8, 2017, according to city officials.
