
FORT MYERS, Fla. – One person was killed and two people are in critical condition after an early morning single vehicle crash, the Fort Myers Police Department said.
The wreck happened on the 3700 block of Central Avenue at about 12:10 a.m. when the vehicle struck a tree, police said.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Speed appears to be a factor, police said.
No further information was immediately available.
