SAN CARLOS PARK, Fla.- A 21-year-old bicyclist hit and killed by a lawn maintenance truck Friday morning was at fault in the crash, Florida Highway Patrol said. The crash happened shortly before 8 a.m. on Three Oaks Parkway near San Carlos Boulevard. Jesse Roberts of Fort Myers was riding on the sidewalk along San Carlos Boulevard and tried to cross over Three Oaks Parkway when he was hit by the truck who had a green light, FHP said. All lanes were reopened around 10 a.m. No further details were immediately available.
