ASC Women’s Open Serves up $25,000 in Tournament Winnings

NAPLES, Fla. – For the second time this year, women’s professional tennis has returned to Naples, for the ASC Women’s Open.

Qualifying began May 8, and main draw play began Tuesday, May 10th, with the best 32 single players and 16 doubles, along with two wildcard players showing off their talent and competing to win the tournament.

Each day of the open the feature match will be held on center court at 4:30 p.m. with play leading up to the championship match Sunday, May 15th at 11:00 a.m. four students from the ASC academy played in qualifying and one will play in the main draw.

With $25,000 in total payout winnings the ASC Women’s Open singles winner takes home $3,919 along with 50 ITF and WTA points. The open is free to spectators all days of play including the championship match. The Academia Sánchez-Casal Florida, is located at the Naples Bath and Tennis Club at 4995 Airport Pulling Road, in Naples.
