FORT MYERS, Fla.- Surveillance images show two people who are believed to have stolen the same truck two days in a row, Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers said.

On Sunday, an abandoned Ford F350 truck was found at the corner of Briarcliff Road and Triple Crown Court in south Lee County.

Deputies traced the vehicle back to its registered owner, who confirmed the truck had been left in a gated compound on James Whitehead Road.

The truck was returned to its rightful owner but the following day, the victim alerted deputies the truck had been stolen once again.

Deputies found the stolen truck shortly after in the same spot where it had been recovered the day before.

The man and woman caught on surveillance cameras are also believed to be involved in another attempted vehicle theft on Friday in the area of Alico Road and Indy Drive, authorities said.

Anyone with information on the identities of the two suspects is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).  All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.  Tips may also be made online at www.swflcrimestoppers.org or by texting a tip to CRIMES (274637) Keyword: REWARD.
