CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (AP) – Fire officials say lightning has struck a home in South Florida.

Coral Springs Fire Department spokesman Mike Moser said the homeowners heard a loud bolt at the same time they lost power around 11:30 a.m. Sunday. Fire officials posted photos of a bedroom in the house, showing where the lightning ripped through the walls.

No one was injured.

The Miami Herald reports the area was under a flood advisory at the time.
