Hot, humid Tuesday with scattered p.m. storms

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Temperatures will climb to near 94 around Southwest Florida on Tuesday with chances for storms peaking between 3 and 9 p.m.

It’ll be partly cloudy at sunrise before a mix of sun and clouds set in by late morning. The morning will be mostly dry, save for a slight chance of rain as lunchtime approaches. A few spotty storms will develop between noon and 3 p.m., expanding to scattered storms between 3 and 6. Chances of rainfall will be a little better south of the Caloosahatchee River.

Storms will continue to be scattered in the early evening and weaken after sunset. Nighttime lows will dip to near 77.
