WINK News #FortMyersEnough Night is Monday at Cowboy Up

Published: Updated:

WINK Sports Director Bill Halter is hosting a community gathering and fundraiser on Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Cowboy Up Saloon. The event is to unite the community and raise much needed funds for families of the recent mass shooting in Fort Myers. All donations will go directly to the families.

A $10 donation will get you a swing at the mechanical boxing bag that scores the strength of your swing. Many of the area’s top boxers will be on hand to participate and promote the upcoming “Gloves not Guns 2” event in Fort Myers on August 20. Anyone 18-years old and younger will have their swing at the boxing bag covered by business donations.

There will be a number of generously donated packages that will be auctioned off or given away as prizes in addition to fun and entertaining competitions.

At 7:30 p.m. everyone will be encouraged to participate in a community conversation with the goal of bridging differences and finding solutions.

All members of the community are invited to the unifying event to make the community safer and show love and support for those affected by violence.

Cowboy Up Saloon is located at 1611 Hendry Street in Fort Myers.
