FORT MYERS, Fla. — Authorities believe the same two men are responsible for a pair of break-ins on Palm Beach Boulevard early Monday morning.

The first took place at Tropical Self Storage, 12644 Palm Beach Blvd., and the second just down the road at Sir Pizza, 13302 Palm Beach Blvd., Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers said. Alarm calls went in to authorities 10 minutes apart.

Officers found an ax that had apparently been used to shatter the front door at the storage facility. However, it doesn’t appear as though anything was taken, Crime Stoppers said.

The men allegedly used another ax to smash the front glass door at the pizza place and made off with the contents of the restaurant’s safe.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the men, who wore masks and gloves during both break-ins. They were described as white males with a slim build. A white heavyset female who wore a bandana and a purple long-sleeved shirt was with them.  The trio took off in a newer model white Dodge four-door sedan, according to Crime Stoppers.

Anyone with information on the identities of the suspects, and their current whereabouts, is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477).  All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.  Tips may also be made online at www.southwestfloridacrimestoppers.com or by texting a tip to CRIMES (274637) Keyword: REWARD.
